‘Compromise in relationship – necessary evil’. Successful relationship without compromise – sounds too good to be true. That’s what we are told from our childhood and we have seen around us. But when you start compromising in your relationship, don’t you feel like something is dying inside? Someway the warmth of the relationship is fading away? What started as a sincere effort to make your partner happy, turns into unwanted compulsion making you bitter day by day. You start expecting your partner to do the same – compromise to make you feel better. And when your expectation doesn’t get satisfied, arguments start. Isn’t there a better way? Indeed there is. Incase you think that you can get rich by earning more money (not caring about spending), you are mistaken. Today I want to share something really really important, may be more important than whatever I’ve shared with you so far. But you may not like what I am going to say. How do I know? Because I didn’t like when I was warned about it. I totally ignored the warning, suffered terribly, learned my lesson & since then warning as many people as possible.
“Unless you plan to settle in a deserted island, communication is important.”
Not sure, who said this, but when I think of it, it is so very true. Individuals are single entities, like islands and communication helps us to make relationships. Communication is probably the first thing that we learn in life, but it becomes one of the most difficult things to pursue later. Unfortunately, we get very little public speaking lessons in our traditional academic journey.
My current job requires me to focus on many different types of works for a considerable long amount of time on a daily basis. It demands constant context switching, staying productive and delivering results at the end of each day. I read many interviews of the successful people in order to find out how they have achieved this difficult task and as I eventually came to realize that no matter what you do in your life to get success, FOCUS is indeed your key.
My recent blog post “How important is one’s class 12 results?” attracted 10,000+ unique visitors to my blog within 5 days, resulted in 1000+ social shares, initiated interesting conversations on my blog comments & Social Media, appeared on Google Now cards, got shared by BlogAdda on Twitter, brought personal messages asking for career suggestions. Above all the post reached and made sense to a large number of students across the country. So when Souravda asked me to write a guest post on ‘how did I do it’, I readily agreed. I am sharing everything I did step-by-step, hoping it will help new bloggers to spread their message to their target audience more effectively.
Being a student of life, I learn from every single day in my life. And you know very well, that I try to share what I am learning as much as possible. That’s why I am writing this post to share with you some interesting experiences I had in last few days ( 9th – 12th May’15), and the lessons I learned from those experiences. Quite an interesting mix it was – starting from Rabindra Jayanti Celebration at a close friend’s home, meeting 37 amazing Kolkata Bloggers at #KolBloggersMeet , meeting school friend (actually 1 batch senior) after 5 years, spending a day each with two people I’ve met on Social Media, being invited to tea with US Consul General and Other Digital Marketing professionals from Kolkata, enjoying first ride with Uber and feeling Earthquake tremor for the second time in life. এই কদিনের এত গল্প, দেখি কতটা লিখতে পারি .
