As the kids are still unborn or too young to read this blog, I had to title it as ‘for parents’. And if you are a parent who is always afraid of what people might think or care more about your social impression than your kids’ happiness, then you are advised not to read further. If you are not a parent, then also this post will be very interesting (or disturbing) read for you. As I mentioned in my previous post, that I’m not-normal. So our educational system never made sense to me. But still had to participate in the rat race for long until I became old enough to refuse. This twisted point view of mine resulted in lots of suspicions in people around me, and felt like alien for quite some times. But I’m glad that in last 7 years met many people who bear the same opinion as mine. And few months back, an interesting conversation with Sanjibda re-ignited the spark within me to wake people up from age-old brainwashing of our broken educational system. Download Free Report.
I was considered normal as long as I was walking the road of life according to what others decided for me. But from the day, I started following my own heart, people around me (yes my parents too) started considering me not-normal ( just because abnormal sounds too rude). How can a normal person (according to them), leave academics after passing out from two of the finest institutions of our country ( read ‘Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission’ & ‘Shibpur BE College’)? How can a normal Bengali boy decide to start own business instead of going for MNC / Govt. jobs? ( Don’t you know that God declared in an ancient pamphlet “Bongs can’t do business”?)
If you are reading this post, 99.99% probability is either you don’t know about Network Marketing or you think you know about Network Marketing. No offense but I’ve met very few people who actually know what Network Marketing industry really is. If you know nothing and willing to learn, nice. But if you think you know everything, please think again. How did you come to know about it?
Unemployment is a severe point of concern in India and many other countries. What about those who are employed? Are they very happy and satisfied? Answer is no. Professional frustration and corporate exhaustion are very common now a days. From underpaid call center employees to high-paid executives, in most cases, you won’t see smile in their faces, most are running out of time for passion and family. Heart attack toll is rising. Relationships are shattering. Kids are growing up alone. If this continues, our future will be quite scary. So what is the remedy?
Few days back when I was writing the post on MeetUp Magic , I was really really hoping for many more meetup experiences. In 2014 I took a resolution to take my Social Networking activities to offline meetings also. So when I got the chance to meet Kolkata Bloggers at a Bloggers meet organized by Aviva India, I was really very excited. Though I’ve met Twitter friends and Facebook friends earlier but never attended any blogger meet before. And as I am resuming my blogging after 3-4 years, I was bit hesitant also to join. But then again, as I teach people to get out of comfort zone, I followed my own advice and went there. Trust me the experience was beyond my expectation. Let me tell you the whole story.
You know whatever I am today, I owe the credit to many people from different walks of life who has been my inspiration throughout my journey. And among those, one of the most important person is Sachin Tendulkar. I can give you 100 reasons for that. But let’s just limit my gratitude to him with most important three things.
Thank God my friend Anand Brian sent me to this video! This young guy Varun Agarwal is a real inspiration. When most of the children in our country are being brainwashed by their parents and society to become an Engineer (remember the movie 3 Idiots?), no matter whether they have any interest or not, Varun’s story will be a ray of hope and source of strength for youngsters who want to follow their heart instead.
