He started as a Visual Merchandiser after completing his Masters from CSM London. He joined as a Assistant Buyer in Retail Buying Team of a Clothing line that was founded back in 1964 & is now a Global brand.

To support the Women’s wear Retail/Wholesale team, they appointed Rangan for having a keen eye for trends and understanding of the commercials. This was a multi-category selection role with a focus on range building for their own stores, UK & international partners.
Rangan has worked closely with many internal teams including retail ops., buyers, designers, merchandisers and their creative services team, and externally with wholesale and SOR partners.
Being a strong communicator with excellent negotiation, and interpersonal skills, having experience in range building & creativity, he was the perfect choice for the role.
During this role he could gather the following experiences:
- Knowledge of European colour trends during 2006-2010.
- Knowledge about products that can sell fast.
- Knowledge in understanding fabric, wash colour, quality & design, cuts & stitch etc.
- Knowledge of Visual Merchandising. Ex.: He can help you with anything that can be seen by a customer inside and outside a store including display, decorations, signs & layout of space.
Being a photographer by passion and having worked as a professional photographer for a few years Rangan could sharpen his knowledge of professional photography as well.
And now with our team he is growing his experience in business growth focused online asset design.
